Yard work, more yard work, and cilantro
It seems like every spare moment has been taken up by yard work for the past couple weeks. Since Adam's parents came to Madison to help us on 6/20, we've accomplished quite a bit. They got us started with laying out a new curvy line of brick edging along the back of the yard, digging out hostas and a spruce tree, and spraying Round-Up on everything behind the line. Since then we've planted 3 arborvitae, a butterfly bush, butterfly weed, and a prairie area with purple cone flowers, black-eyed susans, and little bluestem grass. We've picked some peas from our garden and our cilantro is ready to pick. Unfortunately, we planted quite a bit and it's all ready at the same time, so I need to find some friends with whom to share! Cilantro, anyone?
